Inside PDGF MATRIX

A distinct role.
A clear focus.

PDGF MATRIX pairs recombinant PDGF-BB with a domain derived from placental growth factor (PlGF). The design focuses on affinity for the extracellular matrix—the network surrounding cells—with the goal of improving local association.

The scientific foundation

The rationale.
The evidence.

Published preclinical research provides a rationale for engineering growth-factor affinity for the extracellular matrix. It does not establish clinical superiority for Epi-Glo PDGF MATRIX.

Is PDGF MATRIX currently in development?

Yes. PDGF MATRIX is presented as a development concept. Published preclinical research supports the underlying matrix-affinity rationale; it does not establish clinical superiority for Epi-Glo PDGF MATRIX.

What does matrix binding mean?

The extracellular matrix is the network surrounding cells. PDGF MATRIX includes a domain selected for association with matrix proteins. Finished-product behavior requires product-specific evaluation.

Does PlGF-derived mean placental extract?

No. PlGF refers to placental growth factor and describes the origin of the binding-domain design. It does not mean PDGF MATRIX is a placental extract.
